Can you feel it?

That wisp of a soul searching,
Forever wandering the wastelands of love.

The ignorance of the loveless,
And forsaken bravery of the loved.

The venom of the unloved,
Corrupts the idea of purity.

They can feel it,
Have felt it.

Have you?

This poem was written by Stewart Storrar, a keen writer and filmmaker from the Clyde Valley in Scotland. Stewart believes in the power of words, seeing poetry as not only a form of expression but a form of art.

This post was brought to you by Lore Publication's weekly series 'Poetry Monday' where we publish poems from talented writers across the world, giving them a platform to share their work. Acting as a community, Lore's founder believes that words and art are what separates us from the animals. He wants to honour that by sharing the best poetry, an art form of the word, with the world.

Every Monday, Lore will publish a free poem to read. Poems will be published on a range of topics from love poetry, dark poetry, gothic poetry, inspirational poems, motivational poems and more. Be sure to check back next Monday for a new poem.
